Robyn Stacey is one of Australia’s most acclaimed photographers. Her large and striking images have been exhibited widely in Australia and internationally since the mid 1980s. Stacey’s experimental photographic practice has included hand-colouring, computer manipulation, camera obscura and lenticular imagery. Combining her interests in light and vision, her work explores the entangled relationship between photography, history, perception, and identity. Her continually evolving approach to photography personalises mechanically produced images, and illuminates the magic of seeing ourselves and the world around us.
