Huseyin Sami’s practice to date has been predicated on pursuing a consistent line of experimentation to illustrate how painting can capture ideas of time, action and process. Sami’s work has centred extensively on the field of painting and developing numerous activities that have iteratively engaged with the process of making paintings. These progressive pursuits have explored the material of household paint into studies of colour, form and materiality in an attempt to define a unique material language of painting.
